Hovey Electric is transitioning from the 1st to 2nd generations and we are looking to grow our company.  One of the ways to grow our business is to locate those businesses out there that may match up to our profile;

  • Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Contractors.
  • Sales ranging from $500,000 to $20,000,000.
  • Free Cash Flow of minimum of 20%.
  • Established reputation with well known name in the area.
  • Prefer Companies with Industrial and Military experience, but willing to look at other opportunities.  

Hovey Electric, Inc. is a family owned electrical contracting company based in Midland, MI.  We are focused on the commercial and industrial markets.  Our business is currently transitioning from the 1st to the 2nd generation and we are interested in expanding our market reach into the Southern United States.

Hovey Electric was founded in 1979 by Jim and Rita Hovey.  Our business has enjoyed stability and growth throughout the years, even in the current turbulent economy.  Our goal is to grow by extending our market area outside of Michigan.  We have recently set up and have established business in the Clarksville, TN area.   We employ both new construction and service capabilities to create a diverse revenue stream.
